When and how we started Forgefit

We kept buying running gear from one brand, training gear from another, and nothing that worked together.

Forgefit started out of a specific frustration. The people building it didn't fit a single category. We'd run in the morning, lift in the afternoon, play padel on the weekend, ride on rest days. And every time we shopped for kit, we were forced to choose a tribe — running gear from one brand, training gear from another, a racket-specific tee from a third. None of it played well together, and none of it was made for someone who does all of it.

The athlete who doesn't specialize

The fitness industry is built around specialists. The marathoner, the powerlifter, the cyclist. But most people we know aren't specialists. They're generalists who train hard across several disciplines because that's what a full, active life actually looks like. That person was strangely underserved — treated as a casual in every category rather than what they are: someone who trains seriously, just not in one lane.

Made for crossover, not compromise

We wanted pieces that work across the run, the lift, the match, and the ride — not by being mediocre at all of them, but by being genuinely good at the things those disciplines share. A tee that breathes on a run and doesn't bunch under a barbell. Shorts that move on court and survive a squat. Designed for the overlap, where most of real training actually happens.

Tested by people who train like this

Every piece is worn-tested by athletes who actually live this way — who don't have a coach but train like they do. We don't ship until they tell us it's right. That feedback loop is slower than the alternative, and it's the whole point. We're building for ourselves and the people who train like us, which is a high bar to clear and an easy one to stay honest about.

What we're building toward

A complete kit for the multi-discipline athlete — well-made, fairly priced, designed with restraint, and built to last across every sport you take seriously. We're not trying to be the loudest brand in any single category. We're trying to be the one that finally fits the way you actually train.

If you've ever felt like no single brand was built for the way you move, that's exactly who we made this for.
